We had a free day to spend in Milwaukee on our way into Upper Michigan for a family ceremony, so we decided to make it into a much needed DATEDAY! I’ve been sick all week and our house literally has been falling a part, so it couldn’t come at a better time. We started doing DATENIGHT only a few months into dating and made it into our monthly tradition then and there. Sometimes it’s exaggerated into DATEDAY, when we have the opportunity. My phone auto capitalized it night1, so we decided to keep it. It’s fun, why not? It doesn’t always mean the most expensive meal or the fanciest restaurant, but we try to enjoy time alone celebrating “us” at least once a month! Sometimes it’s even as simple as a home cooked candle lit dinner. Sometimes it’s pick up a pizza to bring home with a movie and my husband runs around front to “pick me up”. We find ways to surprise each other. We normally spend hours talking about our relationship, how we can better ourselves, what’s next in life or simply enjoying new places! Definitely only positive talk, save the intense stuff for another night. We plan on doing this ’till death do us part! I’m so thankful for him!
We were greeted into this new city by fog coming off the water but it felt cool and amazing!!!!
Shop Stacy: Striped Dress, Birks, Earrings**Attention shorties!! This dress is so flattering and cozy, it’s perfect for traveling. When I put it on my husband said, “wow you look cute!” I am wearing an XS and it is QUITE short. (I’m 5’1) Be careful if you are tall/average height.
Shop Stacy: Blue Striped Top (wore XS), or this, Or this, Earrings, Rent them cheaper! Jeans (wore 25 but had to alter length, so comfy though!) Wedges Sometimes, when I see “crop top”, I have to plan for it to fit me regularly since I have a short torso, but this one fit me perfect!
The place had amazing views! The vibe was a little more “day party-ish” than we would have liked but the views, pizza and this sangria didn’t disappoint! The Outsider My husband got to pick the next place so of course we ended up at a baseball bar tasting beer and eating jalapeño popcorn, it was so fun!
