With Thanksgiving just around the corner and Friendsgivings this weekend I know how quickly the schedule can fill up and all of a sudden your closet is full of nothing to wear. I have been going nuts trying to get my house in order, make food lists and grocery shop for my family arriving soon ALL while being sick all week with no energy. Sometimes the weather doesn’t quite pan out how you thought it was going to be, or maybe your plans changed last-minute and you need to switch it up. Here are some SUPER cute and affordable options available right now at Target! I am linking them all if you want to online shop them but otherwise head on over to Target and you should find them in time for Turkey day!
Let’s start off with THIS JACKET. Ok, where are your keys? Go get them and drive to target and get this jacket! I grabbed it as a layering piece and when I put it on it fit snug as a bug. [This was my sincere reaction..OMG it’s perfect] It comes in a few different colors. Medium weight jackets like this are perfect for those states that don’t get too cold over holidays or those in-between season days for us northerners when you don’t quite need the big winter jacket! I am wearing a sweater under it and it has plenty of room for another layer! One thing I cannot stand is when sleeve arms are tight with a sweater under it and this one passed the Stacy test without being too bulky!

Let’s keep shopping….
Target is stocked with all types of scarves but my all time favorites are the blanket scarves anywhere I go! You can do so much with them or even drape around you like a shawl. I loved this bright stripe pattern and it seemed to match anything! I ended up getting the pink stripe instead, so I linked that too. These shoes worn in previous picture and below are amazing! They are so comfy and have a zipper on both sides making them an easy fit! They have a small heel to give you that little height without the ouchies and are super lightweight. One thing when shopping for booties is if you want to wear them with jeans you have to make sure the top of the shoe isn’t too tight-fitting or it will look funny. These again, passed the test. Third thing in this picture is the softest layering tee!! I didn’t want to take it off!
Have you ever heard of the word chenille? It was a new word for me this year. Back in the day, at Limited Too, they were just called soft sweaters. Or maybe that is just what I called them? Either way, they are soft as can be and are EVERYWHERE this season. I loved this shirt because the neck wasn’t too floppy which still gave it a more structured look. I have no shoulders so sometimes a floppy neck can be too overwhelming on me. Paired it with a necklace from the new BaubleBar line Sugarfix.

A good ole plaid shirt that covers the booty is good for the soul. I love adding a girly detail of sparkle somewhere when I wear outfits like this. This is also by the line from BaubleBar. I just love their jewelry because they are cute statement pieces that don’t fall apart but you can get for a decent price. Or, leave it out and put on leggings and slippers! So many wears to wear flannel. Plaid+flannel=plannel #makefetchhappen #makeplannelhappen

Remember when I was talking about small sleeves that make layering impossible? Somehow MOST of my cozy sweaters like this at home are not comfy to layer under, which means they sit in my closest mostly. Well, I made sure to try it on with the cozy long sleeve and THIS ONE ALLOWS IT! From the sassy pose, I am sure you can tell how much I love this color, this fit and this look! Cozy but cute is always in.

Another style of chenille! This has a cute side tie that made it super girly rather than the typical box look most sweater our this season have. Love this sweater! Perfect for the holidays. I have paired it with the maroon pants to give it more color!

Another cozy chenille option! I just love fall colors! (if you can’t tell!) I paired this with the maroon pants, yet again, because I love the fall look!

I have been looking for a chunky knit (layer-able) white sweater and I have found it!!! I have found the need for it with so many winter accessories so I am very excited about it! This is definitely a little more of a church, work or day outing look paired all together but these pants are so comfy! They are corduroy and run kind of big as these are 0’s and I have plenty of room. (Normally, I am more of a 2 wit dis booty)

Ok, I will start off with this shirt. This shirt I have acquired in 5 colors over the years. I started off buying black and white in an off season for like $3 each on super clearance. I was so mad to only find my size in those two colors because they were so soft!! To my pleasant surprise, Target has repeated making these and each year I add a color. They are so easy to wear casually or even work out since they are loose. I have a few smalls and a few xsmalls. My smalls I can wear with leggings but my xsmalls I stick to pants. Now, these are NOT the v-neck cotton tees that target also has out every year where they add prints to them. These are so much softer! I could only find the grey online but there are more in store. Do yourself a favor and take the time to find them!! Ok, moving on to this sweater that I thought just screamed Thanksgiving, paired with some colored pants that are stretchy and also come in olive color. For some reason Target pants always fit me odd, but I am finding that they are starting to be more versatile and stretchy to accommodate the short and athletic built gals like me. These shoes are a knock off of the Tom’s and are super comfy!
Just in case you are not quite in sweater weather, Target has the cutest fall blouses! I loved this one but it is an XS and I thought it was a tad too big (see mirror in back of it draping) So, if you are a little taller, or actually have shoulders, this could be a better fit! Second pic, I have paired with some CUTE velvet purple over the knee boots that actually fit my legs! Ya’ll let’s be real for a second. MOST of the population, including myself, cannot fit these over the knee boots…over the knee…. These you can and even with pants on which is a huge plus for me since I do live in cooler temps. They come in a few colors and have flat or heeled!
Lastly, I got this purse for $9 and it is just adorable. I love that it has black, white and camel in it! The tan is kind of suede material too making it a cute little warm touch.
I hope you enjoyed shopping with me at Target! Let me know if you have any questions or if you end up taking the plunge for a last-minute outfit, I would love to see what you found!
Sending love, Stacy
