Whether you are heading out for a girls night, to a work Christmas party or on a quick trip to NYC…here are some of my favorite styles lately! I always think its best to layer up as temps change quick and that way you can still have a cute base layer!
I wore this to my work Holiday Party in DC. It was extra cold this night so I last minute added a faux fur vest layer! One tip if you are petite, get your fur vest from the kids section! I know that is kind of ridiculous but they fit me way better and are cheaper! Does anyone else do that? I normally grab a size large or 10/12 in kids!
I love love love this sweater dress! I wore it out to a girls night and of course we all wore sweater dresses and boots. I cannot say enough good things about this dress. It was snowing this night but the material of the dress was SUPER warm and layered nice with my pea coat. Wearing XS for size reference. THESE BOOTS. Ya’ll Dr. Scholl’s sent me a pair and I over nighted another color for my NYC trip because they were so comfy. Their souls have memory foam making them perfect for wearing all day! I always size up in boots so I can wear thick socks with them.
Quick trip to NYC for my birthday and had to pack so many layers! This coat on top was super warm and went well with everything. Wearing size XS Petite. Shorties, all hail this petite coat!
This beanie is SO warm. I snagged it when it was on sale and it is running quickly out of stock! My trip with a good beanie is it can’t be too slimming to my head or it looks weird. So I always aim for thick open knit styles!
My birthday suit! This was so fun and festive for a day in NYC. I got compliments everywhere for it! It is hard to see in the pic but there are sequins all over that give it an extra sparkle. It was a great outfit that was casually comfy for the train ride in but also fit in well with a fancy hotel for rooftop drinks in the evening! Runs large! I am wearing an XS and when I first put it on I was like what? But the front tuck works! Also wearing those black Dr. Scholl’s boots here!
